Mark Washington has been selected as the CFL defensive player of the week, as a result of his blocked punt + 40 yard INT return against Hamilton. :rockin:

Yeah, Mark had a hell of a great game last week. What I'm surprised at, is that BC Lions.com has already posted this, yet CFL.ca has not posted the rest of the PoW honours. Are they   ?

I for one salute him. I was hard on him early, but he was probably exposed a bit due to the secondary needing to get use to each other.

Cheers tomark who has really played well these past 10 -13 games or so.

Now that he's on the wide-side of the field he's playing great.

He was all to noticeable in the first part of the season, and I tend to like him being very quiet side during games.

Amidst all the BC Lions who have been selected for the Western All-Star team as well as the individual player awards, let's not forget that a BC Lion was also selected for last week's defensive player of the week - Barron Miles.
