Who'd have thunk that Jonathan Jennings would end the season looking like he's now channeling former QB and footballer - Rakeem Cato. The Lions clearly have go QB shopping or next season could be a disaster without a healthy Lulay.
There needs to be some changes in this team even giving them the benefit of playing a no meaning season finale.
If Wally is to be in place as HC (as who is coming here with the ownership unclear?) he'll have to find some new assistants BUT the reality is that he's out of friendly associates to promote. Not sure what he'd be able to do.
He's apparently told the owner he needs a fast decision for the sake of the team so it will be interesting.

Part of Wally's legacy will be that he couldn't make the transition to a role with a broader scope. He gave Hufnagel his first start as a coach, but not much after that. Couldn't find the right people or keep out of the kitchen. He tried, but it didn't work. I think he was too loyal, and unwilling to go outside himself.Toppy Vann wrote: ↑Sat Nov 04, 2017 10:37 pmIf Wally is to be in place as HC (as who is coming here with the ownership unclear?) he'll have to find some new assistants BUT the reality is that he's out of friendly associates to promote.
