As usual Buono makes the boneheaded blunder of keeping a quarterback that has had three shoulder injuries in his passed, who has not performed up to his former level since late into last season, and moves his genuine qb of the lions future to one of our arch rivals...dughhhh!!! :tp: :tp: :tp:

Lions look totally inept on offense. Are they going to stick with Glenn for the usual three quarters of nonsense or will they maybe put in the backup early? They haven't been even close to a first down yet.

Eli pick on deflection. D bailing us out as usual.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Elimimian did it all himself on that play. Deflected the pass and made the interception.

You are forgetting that Lulay was not injured when Buono let Reilly go

Ya, sorry. At the time, Lulay was the better option.

If we had Reilly for one additional season, I guarantee you he'd be our starter and signed long term because of Lulay's injuries. However, when Reilly's contract ended, there was no way to know Lulay would suffer a MAJOR injury the next season

Good job by Bighill jarring the ball loose.

I thought Benevides was going to clean up the penalties. So far, the Lions have had 4 already.

That quarter couldn't end fast enough.

Only the second time this year we get 10 or more scored on us in Q1. Other time was week 2 in Mtl.

Hard to believe this team was the odds makers favorites to win the Grey Cup at the start of the season.

Edmonton's offence is good but not that good. So far the Lions defence has been 44 and 56. Anyone else home?

Eskimos playing at another speed on both sides of the ball.

Glenn 2 and out on 4 of 5 possessions so far. Looks horrific.
