Re: Felions Swimsuit Calendar Launch Party
For any Lionbackers who missed it (a few I'm assuming) I shall provide a full recap later on as I am three sheets to the wind and yawning at the moment, however, I can simply state that all of the Felions present were very well attired and looking very much like the most beautiful cheerleaders in th...

Re: Felions Swimsuit Calendar Launch Party
Sounds like it should be a good party, is there some way of purchasing tickets in advance? I do have contact info from Cynthia (who is in this years calendar so yay for Cynthia!) via Facebook, so perhaps I'll see about getting them through her. If she is able, I can ask about getting tickets for oth...

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
I heard the suggestion on 1040 the other day that Jim Nill might be a good prospect for GM. He has a history here. Has apparently done a very decent job with the Red Wings. Yeah, but these same "experts" over on 1040 were also reporting a trade rumour involving Luongo to Ottawa for Spezza...

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
It's availible as wallpaper or a screensaver as well according to the Province, by popular demand. Personally I thought that Saturday was a fitting end to the hockey season in Vancouver, if I were a Canucks fan (which I am NOT- GO FLAMES GO!) I would be upset that NOBODY with the exception of Linden...

Re: 2008 Felions Auditions
There was a behind the scene's video in the latest BC Lions insider e-mail that was sent out today, but the resolution was too poor to really make anyone out. Althought I am pretty sure I was able to identify Laura from last season's squad in the mix there, but other than that it was tough to tell w...

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
Any of you out there Black Adder fans? I think I've figured out what's going on with the Canucks, and it starts off with AV going into the dressing room, looking at all the players (minus Luongo, Shannon and Raymond) and saying; "I have a cunning plan..." Now, though careful analysis and s...

Re: 2008 Felions Auditions
Well then, there's always the Roughriders cheer team who are also bitter rivals of the Eskimos. http://a123.g.akamai.net/f/123/12465/1d/media.canada.com/idl/relp/20070629/34989-10488.jpg Well, they're still better than the dancer/cheerleaders from the Adam Sandler version of the Longest Yard! *crin...

Course I recall a couple of years back when they posted an ad with a picture of a Felion who hadn't even finished the previous season out. It could also be like a final tribute/send-off kind of thing for Angela?

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
He will likely be best remembered in Vancouver for his goal with two seconds remaining to send to overtime game 7 of the first round of the 2004 Stanley Cup playoffs. And we all remember how that turned out! lol Nucks are going to implode over the next couple of seasons, overpay the Sedins t...

Re: Official 2007-08 Vancouver Canucks Season Thread
I wouldn't touch Forsberg with a 20ft pole. I'd be more likely to go after Olli Jokinen or Jeff Carter. Brad Richards would be nice, but is he worth an 8M cap hit for each of the next 3 years? :whs: Prospal's 29 goals might have been a nice pick-up for the nucks, too bad he wasn't being advertised....
