Re: Leos/Riders Post Game Stats and Comments
I guess the quarterback draw is the play that Rod Black alluded to that is "unstoppable" I read in the paper that the blogger was Rod Pedersen that referred to an unstoppable play. Point well made. I wondered the same thing. With SolE at home, it was an unstoppable play it seems.... It be...

Congrats on the win, it was well deserved.
Not to mention the beautiful new digs. Looked great on the tube.

Re: Hits on the QB
Just to let you all know, Tillman was contacted by the CFL yesterday. They reviewed the hit and ruled nothing warranting fine or suspension occured. The Riders provided a game tape which showed the hit first contacted the breast plate of the shoulder pads and then the head of Ray. While I am happy ...

Re: Hits on the QB
I was actully surprised when a flag did not fly on that hit on Ray as well. The ref right there did not call anything and there has been no league action so it must be legit, but it very well could have been a flag. There's no doubt it was legit......a legit head duck and crown of helmet to helmet ...

Re: Hits on the QB
There are dozens upon dozens of RTP calls every year....In that game Shabazz was called when he went in on Buck (who may have been making one of the all-time worst slides I've seen), but was rightly called even though he completely let up on the hit...... the second wasn't even a tackle.....it was ...

Re: Hits on the QB
(See Shabazz, Sideeq) Just a question for you my friend.....where did you get this one from? I'm guessing based on Shabazz getting called twice for infractions (1 roughing the passer, 1 unnecessary roughness) for late hits on Pierce in BC's last game against the Esks. Just not seeing how that ties ...

Re: Murphy & Romero fined by the CFL
I read that Romero's fine was much higher.... Con is a decent scribe, but he's not plugged in like the Esk's beat writer Huntington.... "It is kind of crazy to see Dario (Romero) get fined. But what can you do?" cracked Shabazz on Romero's $300 fine for his role in the Rob Murphy dust-up ...

I was thinking that the three teams with the worst injury problems would likely be the ones over the SMS. 1-BC Lions, worst hit, probably closer to the SMS than the others. 2-Toronto Argonauts, devasted almost as badly as BC. 3-Saskatchewan Roughriders, according to their GM, most over the SMS. for...

not only was Boden down....two plays later they blew another one by saying Jyles arm was going forward before it was knocked out of his hand. A brutal job by a brutal officiating crew. Surprised though to actually see those calls go our way for once, despite (what I'm sure will be objection to that ...

I thought it was Simmons that never made it to TC for the Esks, somehting that is strange since his time with the Lions, as he has been very cordial, at least from the fans perspective. well one really has nothing to do with the other. I'm sure there was something significant that came up that call...

I have wondered about what Simmons is making given he his an impressive resum? but that's countered by the fact he just showed up a couple of seasons ago at the Portland tryout camp. Simmons was an Eskimo before he was a Lion. He was at our TC 3 years ago before he had to leave for personal reasons...
