IMHO, establishing the run game is paramount in having success against the Als defence.....as well as as better designed/executed screen passes to compliment the quick passing game.....against Sask, the dump out to the flat was totally useless and was snuffed out early and often by the Sask defence....

Cave looked out of shape (read excessively chunky) and slow of foot......LU says that both new imports were taking first team reps....as well as Hunter Steward had some early reps in today's session. The measurables of Hardrick at 6'7" 320 lbs makes him ideally suited for playing OT in the CFL....

For the record.....I'm not impressed with his yelling at refs, waving his arms, running down the sidelines, etc.......and I don't think his players are impressed either. A couple things I noticed last game.....1) Cord Parks got in HIS face when Benevides confronted him about the blocking penalty.......

I would not call making that decision sending a message, unless the message is fear, playing it safe. A lead of 13 is nothing. 2 and a half minutes is a lifet...
