I donno about this issue, I sorta think that it is ok for high up politicians to fly on private jets. But then again, it is sorta a wast of money? Im pretty sure almost every other Western Nation does it? So I donno if I support it or not. I am kinda like 75% for it, and 25% against it.
Im sure most people will disagree with me, but w.e. it is just my 2 cents. lol

The questions are "who paid for it?" and "does this create a conflict of interest?"13. Martin traveling on private corporate jets as Finance Minister

Yeah I know what you mean. I live in Vancouver East. You can run a monkey for the NDP and it will get elected.CB123 wrote: But even if I voted Conservative in my riding it wouldn?t do anything, cuz I live in "Vancouver-East" (Libby Davies Town) lol and I don?t think the NDP has lost here since like the thirties lol too bad... lol

Just got back from the Harper rally in Surrey, and now I really want him to get a Conservative Majority! That is as long as Cindy Silver gets in! Right Mack?

I don't see a Conservative majority, unless Ontario completely turns against the Liberals and Quebec turns against the Bloc, with the Conservatives being the sole beneficiary.

I think that it is gonna be really close to a Conservative Majority (if not one). and I hope it is too, cuz stupid Minority Gov'ts never get anything done.I don't see a Conservative majority, unless Ontario completely turns against the Liberals and Quebec turns against the Bloc, with the Conservatives being the sole beneficiary.

I think it will be a minority government.
When I see the occasional Liberal lawn sign, I have this overwhelming urge to knock on the door of the home in question and ask them politely, "are you aware that THEY STOLE YOUR MONEY?"hutch wrote:I really don't see how anyone could still vote Liberal!!?
I'm not too worried, however -- I know many long time Liberals who are not voting Liberal this time around. Even they believe their party needs to be punished, and needs time in opposition to renew itself. I think these guys are going to be sent to their rooms for a pretty lengthy "time out" tonight...
