I don't get too excited over New Year's Eve. Big rip off; overpriced for mediocre food and warm drinks. Too many drunks.

I have stayed up for the countdown for every year since 1981-1982, but most of the time it was on TV. I guess for a new year, people feel that they might as well start it off positively in a good way with a party blast.

I have stayed up since 94! :wink: Never been to a countdown live, but im going to seattle with some friends for next new years eve!
