20 bucks for playoffs is a fantastic price. Doman has done an amazing job this week. Every day there is a new marketing initiative to create hype. We are lucky when you see what's happening in Toronto

Just looking at the ticket grid man they sold a lot of tickets in the upper deck with a great push all day today I could definitely see 35,000
Don't forget though, they tarp some of the Lower Bowl (east) endzones now so LB capacity is only about 25,000.

Hopefully the Lions will sell it all out as this owner deserves this.

Ironically, two teams BC and Ottawa with QB injuries must be thinking "what if...".

36,000 is my guess.

A sign of the demand. As mentioned in my OP in the game thread I'll be watching from a suite for my buddy's retirement party. Busy working in Alberta last week I just didn't have the time to work hard to find a buyer so made the pair my buddy and I hold available for sale through the Ticketmaster re-sell process. When it set the price of our seats at around $250 each I thought the chances of being sold were slim and none despite the prime 45 yard line 15 row up location. I was wrong, Somebody scooped them up last night. After Ticketmaster got their pound of flesh and maybe the Lions get a little piece of the action we still got back $202.50 each for the ST holder priced $85 seats.

Nice deal.
I saw lots of resale tickets behind the team benches priced at up to $295. I didn’t know Ticketmaster set the prices.

It was the first time I tried the resale thing. I may have had options to reduce the price but didn't notice. I was wondering that when buying a ticket for the Canucks game last night. There seemed to be lots of resell seats there with only marginal markup.

I got my lower bowl tix for me and the kids already (sec 218). Looking forward to the game and glad to see the upper deck open, but it's selling slowly. Prediction: 29,250.
:whs:

From the few predictions, it looks like this was the closest prediction without going over.

crburrows, congratulations on winning this small contest.

David, will you be giving a prize to crburrows for winning this contest?

would be nice to see 30000
That was met so that was nice. :beauty: Though that wasn't really a prediction from you.

A lot of those kids at the game last night will be begging their parents to take them to more Lions games next year. Games like that for kids can be very magical.

It seems that 90% of the crowd at BCP is over 40 or under 10. Still a lot of work to do to get the 18-34s at games. Not saying there weren't any in that demo yesterday, just not many.

Don't get me wrong, having lots of kids cheering on the Leos is wonderful. I just find it interesting when I compare it to Montreal (where I was in Sept.). It's almost the opposite. Lots of younger fans, but few kids and older folks (being on the McGill campus may partly explain this).

I agree I had some teenagers sitting next to me
One of them watching the nfl on his phone during the lions game even when bc scored
It still is a major problem here in this country we’re ages 13-mid 30s think NFL or nothing
You can like both guys but the CFL is not cool to them like the NFL
