Long makes his second TD-saving tackle of the game.

Can't afford mistakes against the Stamps and the Lions can't help it.

Buono elects to kick a feld goal when they're trailing by 17 points with 2 minutes left

Why are we not targetting Chris Williams ???
If Jennings doesn't have the ability to throw the long ball, take CW off the wide side of the field. Move him around, we did that last week and got him involved in the offense.

Didn't spectacular to get the win, but once again this game was up for the taking. Lions can't afford to make mistakes but more frustrating is the same issues arise in this game as in the previous half dozen. Coaching isn't resolving the OL or ST weaknesses. Top that off with a DL that gives the QB enough time to search out every receiver and the result is better than it should be.

Well now. That was pathetic.

Does Chris Williams play for the Lions?

Lulay would had us in that game. Yes Jennings was pressured, but he was gunshy.

Apparently not, maybe Buono should introduce Williams to Khari Jones.

I am thinking Jones is an issue.

A good QB is usually the difference between winning and losing in this league. Lulay has the highest QB rating in the league this year. Jennings has the lowest, and the differences are more pronounced when under pressure. It's the same offence. Lulay just sees the field better and finds the open receiver. Jennings lacks experience to go through his progressions, is too locked in on his favorite targets and holds the ball too long when he can't find anyone open.

:dizzy: Once again out coached and out played. Defence gave us a chance. Jennings still having problems reading defences. O line weak and has been for years. Poor recruiting, how does Calgary always have a good O line.. better recruiting and coaching. Kuhari Jones is no better than Chapdelaine as OC. Chris Williams is pretty well invisible?? The way the Lions play is easy for defences to defend. They will be lucky to make it to the playoffs. Beating east teams isn't much to be excited about. I have been a die hard Lions fan since 1959 Randy Duncan Willie Fleming era. This season is worse than last year. With the team being for sale and a change in Head Coach, maybe it is time for a new era of Lions football. We will be lucky to get 20000 for the game next week against a poor Hamilton team.
