Nitpick question of the day: is there an "eye roll" emoji for sarcasm? I used to love that thing as I can be a sarcastic SOB, but I haven't seen it on here in several years. Very low down the priority pole though.

I'll get to the smiley, I'm not a fan of the light blue text so that will eventually be white as well as make some of the yellowish colours a little more orange. Gonna work on the header graphic to but for now it's a throwback to 03? 04?

The font needs to be white for better contrast against the background, which doesn't seem to be as black as the old one.
And I would definitely try to get rid of the yellow, which is the first thing that jumps out at me on every page. It's a Hamilton colour. Orange would be good.

Very nice work, D. It is appreciated.
As BCFAN notes the black is somewhat different than the black we have had. This one is softer, kind of matte. Either is fine with me.
Re the font colour, David and D, whatever works. Light blue is nice, maybe not enough contrast? White works also.
My preference as stated would be to keep the cat's eyes.
Just IMO ...

Agreed. This is very good right now (we no longer look like a Tabbies site
).
I'd never seen the original masthead before--it's actually pretty good.
About the only thing I would change is the dark on dark lines that separate posts--that is pretty hard to see.

I'm liking the new look. Great job!!
One of the features that I liked in the old "look" was a "new posts" function on the main page. I see a "new posts" link on each of the postings, but I found that after coming back to the site after being away for a week or two that the ability to list all the new topics or new posts that I have missed was really handy.
Of course, I may have missed it on the "new" look, so my apologies if so....

Tres Cool!!. I didn't even see that "quick links" button..... my quick look was that the Lionsbacker logo was the top of page. I missed anything above it....
