Another missed field goal by maher
3rd MFG rouge for Ham's Maher makes it 18-3 BC late in Q3.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Arceneaux not having one of his better night
JJ24 is hurt. Sore ankle. But agree, bad call.cromartie wrote:Young QB, opportunity to wear down a defense and maintain time of possession.SammyGreene wrote:Why the hell is Jones feeding his back up running back with the wind and a chance to all but lock up the W.
It's a bad play call, but because it was 2nd down, not because of the wind, in my opinion.
Wow, too many men by Ham on the punt gives BC the ball back.

Lions need to have sustain drives in the 4th quarter to kill the clock
We tried to get cute and surprise the Tiger Cats by giving it to Murray Lawrence on second down. I thought we should have challenged the call....it was close.maxlion wrote:JJ24 is hurt. Sore ankle. We have to sustain some drives in this quarter!
