I wonder if Brandon Stewart will get some reps at nickelback in the next game? I like his height advantage over Clarke for the position. But yes, Clarke is not getting his name mentioned the right way especially with that roughing the passer penalty. He pulled up a little at the end but why even give the ref an opportunity to call it?B.C.FAN wrote:Steven Clarke is having a terrible game at nickelback with three penalties.

Power blackout in Regina
Ugggh! It looks like they forgot their helmets at home and had to borrow them from a local high school team.seamack3 wrote:Without doubt, those are the ugliest helmets this team has ever sported in their 60+ year history. When I saw the previews a month ago, I thought they were bad, but after actually seeing them worn on the field of play, they're even worse!
Quite frankly, that uniform combo is making me a little nauseous.

It seems that you are right. We'll have to wait to see what they look like when they get their act together. I guess this is old news, but I couldn't believe that it was true that they would use a different orange for home and away. Has this ever been done before in pro sports? Bizarre!APSmooth wrote:
I think there was a mix up in the home/away jerseys.
Team looks alright for pre-season #1... But yeah, I just have to chime in on the helmets! UGLY!
The new jersey I was on the fence leaning towards dislike but they could grow on me, those helmets though are hideous! Bring back the standard logo please!

This actually sucks for both teams....if they can't get the 2nd half in, that is 25% of the evaluation time down the drain. This might be difference between getting a job or getting cut.TheLionKing wrote:Power blackout in Regina
When is the first round of training camp cuts have to be done?

I'm guessing they had to wear the black home jersey/unis because the RoughRiders wanted to wear their lighter jerseys. And so they opted to wear the away helmet so it got some exposure this preseason.maxlion wrote:It seems that you are right.
