According to TSN's Gary Lawless and Farhan Lalji the Lions and Travis Lulay,
have agreed to terms on a 2yr deal and it's all but signed.
To have Travis back as a back up to Jennings and defacto QB coach is big.
This is the best of both worlds, the rising star in Jennings and the cagey vet, ready
to step in and take over if need be (don't they make movies about this stuff )
One also gets the sense that a deal for Chriss Rainey isn't far behind

Heard this yesterday. They need a veteran in there. Lulay's injuries have slowed him down and I don't think he can be a starter no more, but a backup at a reduced salary yes. Rainey probably signed by Monday. Expect a bunch a re-signings across the league announced by the end of Monday. Heard Laurent wants $300,000 a year. Lawless and Lalji think he will get $250,000.

Lions are going to need Lulay given Dorazio's record of protecting quarterbacks.

Pleased to see Lulay remain with the Lions. Wonder if the Lions are planning to use Lulay on short yardage play and risk injury to his shoulder or will that task be given to Greg McGhee
