Sieve D vs Run
JJ picks them apart. Amazing reads and throws.
Tedford does not want to gush. Matt D does want to gush.
Suddenly Manny looks all league.
JJ. Any doubts? Anybody need more proof?
STs horrific. Like a badly coached kid's team.
Buono says convert change sets you up for failure. LOL
Dunigan disagrees and says it sets you up for success in a different way.

Horrific STs all game.
JJ 225, 2 TDs. 1 key tackle. Freaking amazing.
Fraser kills another.
Jennings makes the game for me.
Bombers disrespect our STs. Fakes and Tricks.
JJ 14 of 15, 249.
ST screwup again.
JJ +++++
Manny +++++
Manny LOL Tired. Soaked in sweat. Big smile.
Rainey looks awful.

Q3
No holes for AH.
Absolutely no respect for our STs. Shameful performance once again. Poor old Chuck should have retired. The worst STs imaginable. But, Hey, he plays it conservatively, the way Wally wants.
Miscommunication JJ and Manny. Pick.
We still look like a poorly coached team. Awful.
Punt, uh oh ...
We are last in sacks. Wally likes our pressure though. Four man rush.
Pass rush getting to JJ.
Horrible quarter for us. Pass rush getting to us.
We blitz. Effective.

Q4
1st dowm Bombers.
Great first down JJ.
Punt single. 7 point lead.
849 left.
No pressure. Good gain by Bombers.
No pressure. 1st down.
Blitz. Gain of 6.
Stop by Leos.
Short yardage. Close. Stopped.
Review. No chance.
600 left.
We look sloppy. Jennings gives us a chance.
Coaching? Hmmmm
Huge play by Jennings to Burnham. Penalty. That was no penalty. Not holding. Sack.
Punt almost blocked. Shameful. Shameful.
Shameful that Wally retained Chuck.
WBB at 49.
Blitz. Overthrow.
337 left. Overthrow OOB. 3rd down. Punt.
Not a surprise. Fake. 1st down. Unbelievable. Unbelievable. 3rd and 10. Chuck should resign. Wally's crony. Good guy, but way out of his league. Outdated by 10 years.

Huge block on Parker. All alone outside. Shameful.
The Bombers are not a good team. But they came back in this game. They showed us no respect on STs especially.
Sieve for run defence. Not enough in the box.
3rd down and 7. Missed throw, wide open.
TD.
Awful. Horrible. No penalty.

As Dunnigan notes, STs took over for the Bombers. Shameful.
Way to go, Wally. Keep your crony in there.

Another horrible ST play. :dizzy:
Procedure on STs. :dizzy:

11 yard run for 1st down. Just 6 in the box. :dizzy:

How to blow a game in 10 easy lessons.

Hang this one on STs. About the worst ST performance I have ever seen. Chuck, you have to go.

As I sit here still disgusted in my seat. Three simple words:

Fire Chuck McMann.

Lots of holes in the Lions tonight, but this game came down to a blown call by the officials. That was the difference between a win and loss. Close and exciting game otherwise.

McMann.....2 fake punts for first down, 1 blocked punt for TD, another partially blocked

that was a BS holding call on Draheim on what would have been Burnham's big catch

I forgot they blocked a PAt attempt too

Nicely generous but it came down to an abysmal special teams performance that started right at the first play of the game and carried right through.

Also special mention goes to M Washington who called a 3 man rush when a stop was absolutely crucial at the end of the game on 2nd and 7.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Special teams the obvious villain for the Lions... The Offensive Line less so but still had a part to play. Winnipeg obviously wanted it more, the gambles played by O'Shea won them the game with a hefty helping of "here ya go" from our Special Teams.
That display screamed lack of preparation AND anticipation by the ST coach.

What a kick in the teeth for Lions fans.

Refs were terrible tonight and the call on Draheim was weak but every team in the CFL gets those poor calls.

We were not ready to play in the second half and our special teams are atrocious. Fool me once, shame on you . Fool me twice....

At 5-9 this team is not going to make the playoffs in my opinion and if they do, that looks bad on the CFL! Many, including myself have called for a over-haul in the management and coaching. If we make the playoffs, does that just mask things for next year.

I'd like to see a change happen tommorrow morning. Wally should walk down to Mc Mann's office and tell him to pack his bags. Tedford should be right behind him at seasons end.

We need a new, fresh and creative staff. Get rid of the seniors crew and get some coaches in here who didn't wear leather helmets when they played the game!! :bang: :bang:

The Draheim penalty and the missed pick play certainly did not help our cause, but it was truly the special teams coach who has to wear the goat horns here. As one of the other posters suggested, they should be firing Chuck Mc-Cronie right away. Which, of course, won't happen.

Solid second choice for the cause of the loss: The O-line. Saw all kinds of breakdowns, including Olifoye missing a pass block. Three, count 'em, three imports on the O-line.

Suppose some credit should go to the Bombers for sticking with it, but, I mean, jeez, huh? Chuck Mc-Crap? Man....

I do hope the game highlights include that incredible attack on Ryan Phillips. Uncalled, unreviewed. Astounding!

Rarely, in my lengthy support for the Lions, have I seen such unbalanced and biased "officiating." It 's hard to escape an impression that the game was fixed; there were just too many unbelievable calls even for this League.

Yes, there should be some dramatic changes in coaching. But there should be some serious serious reviews of the rules surrounding that pick play and the capability/integrity of that officiating bunch.

It smelled.

Winnipeg Special Teams were pretty bad and consistently bad right up till now. They fire their ST coordinator and lo and behold, they find new life, make our ST look useless and leave BC Place knowing McMann is now wearing the coveted Ass Hat.
