Don't blame the fans. I'd point the finger right at Denis Skulsky. Attendance has been dropping steadily since Bobby Ackles passing.dupsdell1 wrote:It Is official just heard on 1040 halftime show 20,084 attendance tonight the last time that happened was 2002 , Moj is talking to the in stadium director for the lions , and he says they have a lot of work to do , he is not happy the way fans have not come out yet , but says it is early he thinks if the lions can win tonight then win in Winnipeg next week the Edmonton game a divisional rival could be over 25,000 once you get a very good crowed like that people will come back
this is going to take all year to get this fixed , the lions have a very good team this year but they priced out the average fan that use to go like my self and my kids , and I believe the event has to be big enough for a huge crowed to go any were
and right know there is still a big Waite and see attitude. be prepared that we might only be getting 20-25 k this year and go from there.
Between his bone head guarantee against the Riders last year to raising prices this season, it's no wonder crowds are small.
The Lions have struggled the past two years and have been poor offensively with little entertainment value. Instead of raising prices, maybe the way to go was to lower them and re-build the fan base with kids and younger fans. The Lions aren't hot or sexy to the lay person. High prices won't attract new or the casual fan.

We can't make a 3rd down gamble with less than a yard, why would we go on 3rd and 4?

Bone head gamble and another game where our defence is letting a team back in it!

Argos winning the adjustments battle big time right now. Lions obviously came out with a great offensive game plan and haven't been able to counter what the Argos have done defensively since. Passing game struggling since early 2nd quarter.

Slipping away on both sides of the ball.

2nd and 6 at a critical point in the game and of course the D can't make a stop.
