How can you whistle that play dead, as he was not sidelined, no knee down in the grass, and forward point advance not yet determined ???

Lions punting near midfield, goes through goal for a rouge. 8-0 BC.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Former Lion SJ Haidara gets Ssk's first completion. Korey Williams another former Lion gets the second.

Ssk goes from 2nd & inches to 2nd & long on the holding call. And fail to get a 1D, three yards short.

3rd & 1 BC going for it. Looks like a long 1. I don't think we got it but there's a flag, against who?

Major foul against Ssk but their ball as the play was dead and the ball TOD'ed.

That was a full yard. Not really even a qb sneak situation.

It was a long yard but Jennings seemed delayed before he went in
