Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Bazzie offside sustains the drive but Mtl fails to get the FD anyway. 2 & out. Lions start their 2nd series at their own 37 after the Whyte punt.

So far we have had a poor punt, taken a penalty to sustain a drive and Glenn has overthrown a open receiver and completed an 8 yard pass on second and 10.

Looks like pretty much every other lions game this year so far!

Tack on a horsecollar tackle from Cord Parks. Could be a long day.

Whyte punts for a rouge to open the scoring, 1-0 Mtl.
