There didn't seem to be much disappointment after the 1995 season after he was lost as a free agent along with Danny McManus. Both players ended up with good seasons in Edmonton and then Hamilton.

That video was fantastic including the 1994 WDF bit which for me in the ice and snow (saw it on TV only) with that final drive with McManus and Flutie is probably the best football drive I have ever seen live or on TV. It still gives me chills.
Darren Flutie definitely deserved the HoF induction and early.

It is just too bad that money issues drove these guys to other teams. Not complaining about the Lions - just lamenting the ability to pay which leads to more players moving than is good for the game.
