A very astute article both in his insights and description of Anthony Cavillo as a football player and person. Very well written.

I know from my friends who played in the CFL this one paragraph in a large football team is very true:

"In pro football, you tolerate about one third of your teammates. With so many different backgrounds and influences, you couldn't care less if you ever crossed paths with them again. Another one third of your teammates, you only casually know as work associates rather than close friends. When you're together, everything is fine and when you're apart, that's okay, too. The final third become your best friends. You have immense respect for them and genuinely look forward to being associated on a daily basis."

Applies to real life as well.
