Just wondering if anyone is familiar with this photogragh set and could provide some background about it? I've searched online vain.
The photo is not in great shape, as it has some small creases, and is also slightly curled.
Thanks for any help.

That picture is an insert from a 1960 B.C. Lion program. Their were 40 insert pics that year and all signed. They were inserted loosely as their are no perforations. . You can check on this by getting a copy of the !st 50 Years by John Wirtanen Hope this helps. BB

Interesting...and wearing # 24 as his jersey number then?
"Just Win Baby" ~ Al Davis
Besides this #24 and the #15 he's best known for, he also wore #91 according to p. 4 of this document.PigSkin_53 wrote:Interesting...and wearing # 24 as his jersey number then?
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
