I was just wondering how many jerseys each of you own? Do you own any from the other teams? I am just curious as I am up to 4 personally (thanks Rick!) and probably going to keep buying more. So i was wondering how many the rest of you own?

I have:
  • BC Lions 50th Anniversary Jersey (Dickenson #12)
    BC Lions Black Modern/Retro Jersey (Dickenson #12)
    BC Lions 1960's Retro Jersey (Eventually will be #16 for Buck)
    BC Lions 1970's Retro Jersey (Eventually will be Simon #81)
I don't get retro names on my jerseys as I am too young too remember them (if you consider 24 young).

#92 would be Doug Petersen, DT, 6'4" 280, out of SFU. Played 25 games in 1994/95 with BC before going to Montreal where he was a CFL All-Star in 1996 & an Eastern All-Star 1997 & 98, was a Western All-Star in 1999 & 2001 with the Schmoes. Retired after the 2002 season. In 1998 while he was with Montreal, he & David Archer (Edm) got fined & put on probation for the remainder of that season after a little exchange of opinion in their match Oct 4. He is now selling real estate in Fort St John where he grew up.

I think there was a spitting incident there also, IIRC?
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

I want a jersey for every CFL team eventually (although I won't pay much for those Rider or Stamps jerseys :wink:) I can never decide which Lions jersey to buy, although if I ever see a Keith Gooch jersey on ebay... it's mine!!!
