For those of you who don't already know, Blue Rodeo will be performing for the halftime show. For those of you who like that band, then you will have your money's worth.
I won't be going to the GC but just for sh!tz and giggles I checked Craigslist Calgyra to see what kind of traffic GC tix are generating. Is the reselling of tickets on their own illegal in Alberta or something? Every listing says something like "Buy a map of Calgary - includes two Grey Cup tix for $800` or whatever.

Yeah I noticed that, too. Definitely seems like a deliberate attempt to avoid scalping (technically).

Best part from a Stamps fans perspective, they may make out like bandits with the Riders coming to town. At least they should recover their initial cost this time around, it was the next best thing to the Stamps being there for them.

Similar things happened when the Stampeders lost the opportunity to host the Grey Cup in 1993 and 2000 after the Eskimos and Lions respectively upset the Stampeders in the WDF.
