Personally, I like what the Lions have done over the years including the years of the paw.

They have never strayed far from their original colours and logo changes have not strayed either from the Lion except 1971.
I don't recall the Lions 1971 logo as it looks odd here.

It even has the 1996 logo on a helmet for the Miami Manatees of the CFL. But they never played.

Sask S and Esks have had the least variation with the EE.

It looks like the first six years from 1964-1969, the Lions' helmets were identical to those of the current Cleveland Browns.

In 1971 the Leos sported the BC Centennial logo on their buckets.
