For the second time this season, Hamilton Tiger-Cats running back Jesse Lumsden has been honoured as the Offensive and Canadian player of the week. In the Ticats first win of the season Friday night, Lumsden had 12 carries for 211 yards and two touchdowns, including a 75-yard score. He also caught two passes for 16 yards. The former McMaster Marauder currently leads the CFL in rushing with 554 yards.

Defensive Player of the Week
CB – Randee Drew – Montreal Alouettes

Randee Drew had two of the four interceptions recorded by the Montreal Alouettes defence in a 29-27 overtime victory against the Toronto Argonauts. Drew also recorded three tackles, including two sacks for 13 yards.

In his Toronto Argonauts debut, Dominique Dorsey returned a missed field goal 129 yards for a touchdown, tying teammate Bashir Levingston’s modern day record set earlier in the year. Dorsey finished the game with four punt returns for 40 yards and three kickoff returns for 95 yards.
