DPF, sorry bud, I don't think you can pass for being 12. LF4L, on the other hand...................

Hahaha I bet no kids will want one. Serouisly, I'm not going to go out of my way to get a bobblehead, they'll sell them later and frankly I don't care. If a kid cries because they don't get one, take a picture because otherwise I can't imagine that happening.Robbie wrote: Since you have kids, I guess you need to enter the stadium early and possibly miss most of the tailgate if you want them to get one.
For such a good item, I can imagine kids breaking down in tears if they don't get one.
Yeah, DPF you're a bit bigger than a 12 year old lol.....now if its 16 and under....DPF, sorry bud, I don't think you can pass for being 12. LF4L, on the other hand...................
The Sun paper said the first 4000 kids 12 and under. BBRobbie wrote:While it may have been mentioned on other threads before, let's use this thread to officially discuss and remind each other of 2007 Lions game day giveways, promotions, and half-time events. Last year, this thread was used to informally discuss game day giveways:

In that thread, some of you expressed remorse about not taking advantage of free giveaways like posters and scarves. Well, if you don't want that to happen again, let's use this thread to inform each other of the giveaways that you can take advantage of this year and get more bang for your buck. And for those of you who receive free items, you can post pictures of them here too.
This is definitely a partial list. Please add other giveaways and events that you know about.

Perhaps the available-to-kids-only angle is part of the larger goal of the club in creating the next generation of Lion fans.No Ordinary Joe wrote:I was wondering that too. It looks really good quality and I would be happy to pay to get one for myself. I think in the future the team should introduce more bobbleheads, they're a popular collectible for a lot of people. Down in Seattle they had a 4-set series of Mariner players. They could do something similar here, have a Dickenson, Simon, B. Johnson and Glatt or whichever fan favorite defender you want. People would go crazy for something like that. The kicker though would be to have them be made available to everybody and not just kids.
Yes... I had both my kids with me last night (for a change) and they each got one. Excellent quality and it comes in a nice box too with photos of Geroy as well as his bio and career accomplishments. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is the Rogers logo at the base but I guess someone had to pay for them.Robbie wrote:Time for my usual post-giveaway question:
For you kid Lionbackers like LF4L, did you get a Geroy Simon bobblehead?
And for those of you who accompanied kids, did they get one?
And for my usual post game question, did someone get one for me!!??Robbie wrote:Time for my usual post-giveaway question:
