Same team I've always cheered for since I was a kid and 6 years before the Canucks entered the NHL...........Detroit.
You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
I am having difficulty as my home town is still very much a Niedermayer hangout, and are playing for the Ducks, but the thought of Burke making a SC appearance before the Canucks has made me select the Wings for this round.
Entertainment value = an all time low

Didn't the question ask about "Canuck fans"Hambone wrote:Same team I've always cheered for since I was a kid and 6 years before the Canucks entered the NHL...........Detroit.
Not to be nitpicky there Dale but I don't know a bigger Red Wings fan
And thus I have also refused to answer the question. I like the Canucks, I follow the Canucks, but I'm not a real fan of the team.

Ottawa first and Anaheim second.
Out of the two choices, I picked the Ducks because I really like Brian Burke. But, I don't really care that much now that the Canucks are out.
The only thing that could make me cheer now would be for Ottawa to win the Cup.

Enough is enough.

If it's any consolation Ken the Canucks are a close 2nd. I was in GM Place when Lidstrom bounced the shot by Cloutier from centre ice. I didn't know if I should feel happy for Lidstrom and the Wings or sad for Cloutier and the Canucks.LFITQ wrote:Didn't the question ask about "Canuck fans"Hambone wrote:Same team I've always cheered for since I was a kid and 6 years before the Canucks entered the NHL...........Detroit.

I'm hoping to pull off the sports fan's ultimate hat-trick. I already have two in the bag with the Lion's Grey Cup and Colt's Super Bowl wins. Just need a Wings Stanley Cup to complete it. Not holding much hope for the SF Giants.

That's the way I'm kinda leaning too... After seeing anaheim now the last round, I've lost some respect for them and don't think they'll go further anyways.Rammer wrote:I am having difficulty as my home town is still very much a Niedermayer hangout, and are playing for the Ducks, but the thought of Burke making a SC appearance before the Canucks has made me select the Wings for this round.
Because he always seemed like such a downer on the team and didn't produce.Lionheart wrote:Why is that Mac? Why do you hate him? Is it because it's fashionable to do now?
He had a large contract but never seemed to earn it and was negative to boot.
I don't like guys who are problems in the dressing room. I put CP in the same boat.
