This happens to be close to my neighbourhood, so I attended. It turns out that this clinic ran all day from 9am to 4pm, with coach's appearance scheduled for the last two hours.

While meeting WB would be a nice perk, I was actually more interested in the free blood work since I hadn't had it checked in about ten years. I arrived rather late, about 3:30pm, and didn't notice any sign of WB or even any indication that this was a Lions-sanctioned event. I spent ~30 mins there filling out a document, waiting in a queue and having the tests run. Happily, my BP and cholesterol are both .

After getting my results I asked the staff member attending to me about WB's appearance; he spoke positively of Buono but stated that he left early -- his daughter just gave birth yesterday so he made arrangements to visit her today in Edmonton (does this count as a scoop?). I was told he showed up at 2pm as scheduled but cut his appearance short to make his flight.
