Don't wait! North Van has community ball, and it's Canadian rules. Some good football being played there, especially as North Van's teams now play in the VMFL - http://www.vmfl.ca/

Remember, you're only young once (but as my wife points out, you can be immature forever).

So it's that time of the year again. For those who have kids, how are they feeling about the first day of school?

3 of 4 kids seem to be really looking forward to school, the 4th is indifferent, but he isn't easily pleased. Personally, they were due for wearing out some energy on school.

Another year, another back to school day. How are all the kids doing today?

I suppose there's some chaos with regards to the new public transit routes. With the opening of the new Canada Line rapid transit route between Vancouver, Richmond and the airport, TransLink has changed a large number of bus routes in Richmond, Ladner, Delta and Tsawwasen to transfer bus commuters to the nearest station, rather than running buses across the Fraser River.

And of course, make sure your kids are protected against the H1N1 Swine Flu. :puke:

For those of you who have kids who are supposed to go back to school today - all they all ecstatic for an extended long summer holiday? :rockin:

Just a generation ago, while there sometime extended winter vacations because of inclement weather, who would have thought that nowadays the Day after Labor Day will initiate Labour issues that will create ecstasy for kids and teenagers, while creating outrage for teachers and parents. :bang:
