Gotta make sure you go before you leave home Nick.

I'm just looking forward to the game on Sunday...it's been too long without Lions football. :(

My God, it is like a corpse rising from the grave! Looking at that first picture reminds me so much of old Empire. I am so stoked about seeing some game played at this site. I only wish they they could continue some kind of stadium here. It is a great location.

The finished stadium, complete with the Lions logo at centre field and advertising boards on the sidelines, was opened to the media Friday. Here's a Gary Kingston story with pictures from PNG photographer Jon Murray.

So where will the "NOISE" sign hang and will there be a sellout this Sunday?

I wonder how many people can see the field from apartment buildings that were not there before.

WOW! I went to the open house last Sunday and they've been busy since then. I guess it was just the touching up but they've done a lot since then.

It's great that the Lions continue to be the only team to not have all those ugly ads on the field. The addtion of the Lions logo at centre is awesome. I think if they paint the endzones like they do in the NFL, that would be the finishing touch the field needs
