So I have been putting it off but the site is long overdue for a major software update ... hopefully any downtime will be minimized but the updates will require a whole new look .... so should we stick with the black and orange look we have had since 1999 or change to a with theme with black and orange accents?
Has anyone visited the Vegas Palms online casino there are a lot of fortunes to be made playing at Vegas Palms Canadian baccarat casino

My preference ... keep the same look. And the eyes.

I agree with WCJ. Old adage, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. This colour scheme seems to work.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.
you can't tell but it is broken and if I don't update it will only get worse. I won't be able to keep the exact same look but I think I'd be able to keep the colour scheme. Byeyes I think you mean the header logo graphic which yes I would be able to keep with either colour schemeWestCoastJoe wrote:My preference ... keep the same look. And the eyes.

Colour scheme. Black background = much easier on the human eyes. We will see what the people want.
Thanks, D.
IMO the tone of the site and the level of discussion have been first rate.

The colour scheme is fine the way it is.

My only suggestion is to implement something that is a high contrast appearance to aid with reading. Otherwise anything with some black and orange....Actually maybe a burnt orange as a tip of the hat to the Cardiac Kids of the 70s?
It's probable that the required (to keep up to date with security features) version update will result in losing features that are now obsolete--not an uncommon issue with sites that were created as long ago as this one was.Hambone wrote:Who's the software upgrade and new look for D? The site or you?
I see the switch to white background votes are currently losing to the keep the dark background. I voted to go to white, but after thinking about it, there are times when a dark background is easier to read, such as on a smartphone with the attendant variable light levels.

I think my little dig at my buddy D might've just zipped just a wee bit over your head BC1988.
You're as old as you've ever been and as young as you're ever going to be.
OK Ladies and Gentlemen boys and girls ... the hard part is over!
... it's a good thing i'm a persistent MOFO
I'm going to leave this for a few days and then start on adding features and tweaking the look

I really like the new look, D! Thank you for all your hard work.
Maybe next iteration you could increase the new Lionbacker logo (great job!)?
I am fine with the light blue font, but others (WCJ?) may want white, I am not sure. Don't want to speak for anyone. Anyway, thanks again!
Nitpick question of the day: is there an "eye roll" emoji for sarcasm? I used to love that thing as I can be a sarcastic SOB, but I haven't seen it on here in several years. Very low down the priority pole though.

A very smart and stylish look to things so far -- hats off to you, D, for taking on the herculean task. Enjoy your deserved break, and then all the happy tweaking to come. Indeed, you are not only a persistent mofo (as you say, LOL) but a skilled one! Cue the thunderous applause.
