Seen this script before. Lions getting no pressure without blitzing and Washington content dropping 8 or 9 into zone coverage. Missing Brooks too.

Need to punch this one in. Can't leave more points on the field heading into half time.

What a terrible call on the throw to Rainey. I could read that play sitting on my couch. The Lions have left 11 points on the field with one missed FG and settling for 2 FG instead of TD's.
Calgary is too good to play like this. The Leo's need to make some big toe adjustments at half time!

We had stopped Calgary two times on defence in the first half and then gave them new life with a second down penalty. Too many penalites on special teams. Three field goals when we should have scored two touchdowns and a Leone miss on a field goal. Not good enough for a first place battle from our side.TheLionKing wrote:We needed those points to stem the bleeding
Until that final Leo offensive drive Calgary had twice the time of possession as we had in the first half. Calgary is just getting too many yards on first down...setting up second and short. Our defense is going to get very tired unless we are better in the second half.

1st off, they need to implement more of a ball control game. The best way to defend against BLM is to keep him off the field.
Leave off the undisciplined penalties. 1 offside gave Stamps a continued drive for points. You can't give that team yards.

Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

What really pisses me off is Wally's dispute with Jerome Messam, and how it has come back haunt Buono, as our defense seems to have no answers to counteract him!!!

Lions weren't ready to start the first half and a turnover to start the second!
