Lions vs. RedBlacks Game Day Thread
Moderator: Team Captains
I almost always PVR the game and start watching at least a half hour into the game. Get to FF through the commercials that way. I got busy with something else and checked in here to see how the game was going every now and then. Nothing made me want to get inside the house and actually watch the game and I'll likely not watch it at all now. Two stinkers in a row. That's no way to fill up BC Place.
Enough is enough.
No end, omg.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Sums up the coaching staff quite well. Players confused who should be on and who should be off.sj-roc wrote:Both jumbo team and punt unit take the field. Serious confusion on the BC bench.

Between the 4:30p PT kickoff and what with the snoozefest has unfolded in the last three hours the Lions will not be topping the league in ratings this week.

Biggest offensive play of the game right there, in significance if not in distance (which it prob is anyway).

Fumble! Fabien recovers, BC ball. Lulay hurt, will have to exit for three plays. Might be shoulder again. Argghhhh.
