2. Run more sweeps. The Lions have an effective toss sweep to Harris that doesn't get used often enough. They usually run a jet sweep once a game to Gore or Arceneaux. Korey Williams ran it last week. Forcing the defence to spread out and defend the sweep opens running lanes inside.
Our two guards Kabongo and Valli are too slow to be pulling on sweeps.

Who says Kabongo can't be a pulling guard? .......

Said it already and I'll say it again.....YOU NEED TO GET ANOTHER TETE A TETE set up with Buono. I loved hearing about the last one. Besides they serve decent coffee at the Lions office, NO?

I expected Chapdelaine to be serving coffee but he was in his office practicing his hand signals

Now that sounds like an opportunity to get some photos he might find embarrassing......

The title of this thread is about "running game dominance". Dominance? Dominance? How about just having a running game. Is that too much to ask?

But that fake miss by Lulay worked once, it fooled one LB, so it is a staple in Lulay's plays. Of course it doesn't sell well with DeMarco, as nobody can see him behind the OL/DL, much to the annoyance of Chapdelaine.

The direct snap has worked well for the Lions and for other teams. Calgary uses it with Cornish. Any misdirection that freezes a defender for an instant or gets him going the wrong way can help the running game.

Yeah but you know what really works is three guys flying in every direction in the back, making the defenders really work to figure out whos got the ball.. anyways most of Chap plays their figuring out pretty quick as you can see from last year our record was a lot better and the way its looking this year goes to show you he's not being creative, he thinks its ok to throw a 5 yard pass on 2 and 10..he's so predictable.. things like that boggle my mind and gets frustrating to watch... :tp:
