No surprises. Geathers has a quick first step but showed little else. The team is going to great lengths to find a defensive end. Fourth-string linebacker Rodney Paulk has been moved to defensive end and got a long look in the Saskatchewan game. Brandon Peguese was brought in Saturday and will hopefully get a chance to show something in the Edmonton game.
The Lions are now down to 66 players in camp, including non-counters. With injured lists and practice roster, they'll probably keep 55 to 60. The remaining cuts likely won't be so deep, and could be described as selective trimming. They will depend in part on which players will accept positions on the practice roster.
