Very exciting game. Hard hitting.

Ricky Ray is very, very good. Travis Lulay is better.

Finally, a home win against the Eskimos after heartbreaking losses in 1987 and 2005.

This has been one of the most memorable and enjoyable seasons to watch after the Lions poor start....I am still keeping my paper bag on as after I put it on the turn around happened

I can now go to work and rub it in :good:

A couple of key plays for me was getting the ball right back after Lulay's int and scoring a TD as it could have been 26-13 rather than 33-6 and the unbelievable block by Bruce on Lulay's run!!!! Well done Leos :rockin: Now to break the every 6 year grey cup streak we have been on since '94
Thank you for everything you did for OUR Lions Mr.Ackles, we will never forget you...RIP

Tough game. It was very tough to get to Ray. I am very glad we dressed 6 D Linemen. If not, Ricky Ray might have lit us up. We had enough pressure on Ray. Towards the end he was going all out and showed how dangerous he can be. Plus their receivers are outstanding.

A very exciting, hard hitting game. Very, very satisfying.

Wally is going off the hook this week, watch, Geroy's Jr football team though...on the brink...

Enormously entertaining and rewarding.

Best balanced group of talent ever, I think.

Well done Lions!

Congratulations to the BC Lions organization in what has to have been a hard week with the sad death of Bill Recheilt's son.

Wally hasn't been better in his trophy presentation comments and interview with Team 1410 after.

His first comments were about Eric Tillman, Kavis Reed and the Eskimos - not only classy but shows how much he realizes that without top opponents each week this league would be back into the bad old days of low fan turnouts and poor interest.

Lulay looked like Garcia at his peak. Not a bad decision. Arland Bruce block on the Lulay TD run was amazing.

Most amazing turnaround I have ever seen in sports from how bad it started and how bleak it looked for this team and their coaching staff.

Great that Buck and the Bombers will be back in BC as that is another team with good choices of coach and a good team.

The better team won. Simple as that.
Bring on the Blue bummers, we have unsettle business with them. When the Lions are done with Winnipeg hopefully they can once and for all put an end to the absurd swaggerville garbage.

Just a wonderful performance by the defensive secondary in particular before they settled into a dime package in the second half and Edmonton countered with two tight ends. A majority of those sacks and pressures were secondary driven, it was terrific to see Ray with almost four seconds to throw...and no one to throw to. It tells me that not only did the secondary do it's job, but the coaching staff did it's job as well in preparing for Edmonton's passing attack.

Offensively, they left points on the field, I think as the receivers need to tighten up just a little bit.

It's tough to be critical, but I'll suggest that the punt return coverage might need to tighten up a little bit, though it was much better late. Our return game, I thought, was fine, we stared in what I consider plus territory on pretty much every drive. The back end of the secondary needs a little bit of help as well, but these are small nits to pick on a great, great night.

I'm psyched, overall. Couldn't be happier.
