Is it true BC place will not be finished in time for the 2011 season and most of the games will be at Empire?

yeah that's a good question, all this talk about going back to BC place and we don't know the date yet.
I thought I heard the latest target date was Sept. sometime
We shouldn't be paying BC place prices for Tempire.

My Account rep told me they're tryign to get the first month of the season the road and could play at BC Place while it's being finished up, maybe a few games at Empire but not the whole season... I think they mentioned that option in an article a little while back to.

At the Empire Field Open House, the BC Place employees were saying that target date was September and the official opening is set for Grey Cup 2011.

I hate my seats at empire. They made them almost ground level and im on the front row.Everytime the play is in our end you get blocked by the refs, firstdown markers, photographers ,media guys, and anyone walking by.If its at Empire for most of the season forget it :thdn:

This Sun article from about two weeks ago — the main point of which is that the new BCP roof won't be able, nor was it designed, to open or close during rainfall or high winds — also pegs September for the opening.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

$1150 for renewal? That's something like a $300 jump from last year! That's crazy, especially if we won't be in the stadium until the fall. I won't pay that type of money for Empire seats that sucked so bad that I had to watch the screen to see the game.

I am paying for my tickets for now, but will be writing a letter to the team about the new seat configuration. They merged Gold & Premium into one so now my 25/30yd visitor side seats cost just as much as ppl on the Centre line on the Lions side. I simply can't afford to pay for 3 tickets in the premium section each year.
