Have one which I won't say in case of someone stealing it, but can anyone think of a good one for TSN (acronym)?
So which one did you decide on? BB
Whatever it said, it looks like it didn't go over too well with the locals. I am pretty sure the author of this post is "Jeremy" who called the post game call-in show with Moj tonight . He reported that the fans were extremely unruly and tossed beer at the Lions' bench. Worse, he was verbally abused after the game because he wore a Lions jersey and another "fan" threatened him. Yes, this kid is only 15 years old and someone wanted to fight him. Unbelievable. :thdn:

All I can say son is 99% of CFL fans are great, passionate fans. Unfortunately, passion + intoxication can often lead to stupidity. I hope you and your Dad weren't too turned off. Don't let today's experience sour you from going to support the Lions in enemy territory, because road trips can be an awesome experience!

Wow, Jeremy may be 15 but would pass for 13 or so if a TV series needed it. Not trying to diss on LF4L at all, just pointing out that he hardly resembles the kind of kid that would be a target. Sorry for him having to go through that, and his Dad is a Hamilton fan, and as far as I know, he has never received anything remotely resembling that. Time to change in that Hamilton jersey and toss the Lions jersey from here on in.
Entertainment value = an all time low

Aside from one sack, this sign was totally BS. :thdn:

Hey Guys, I went with the
Trounce
Steeltown
Now
sign, and decided only to use it if BC was up by two scores or more, because otherwise i was actually scared of getting beaten.

I was in the lions 'family' section, where the players families were, as well as other lions fans, and that was lucky, but there was definitely a lot of tension in that section, with the number of drunk, mid-20s Cats fans that were sitting there.

They threw bags, I believe beer, and other stuff at McCallum, the Lions, and fans in general.

Some fans were good at the end, like in the bathroom congratulating me, but on the way to the car a guy rolled down his window swearing, yelling hey kid f*ck logan, f*ck the lions, they f*cking suck etc. wanna fight?

i didnt just take it i responded with the gracious finger , and then asking how his team did. Other Ti-Cats fans who heard him told him to STFU, and told me he probably comes to one game a year.

There were a lot of good Cats fans, but the ignorant, drunk ones were just stupid.. Like Rammer said my dad's from Hamilton, and a huge fan (which is why we went), and it was all in good fun except for the drunks in the stands and the guy in the car (and his friends).. I have now been to all but two CFL stadiums and have never had a problem before and being my dad's hometown, Hamilton will not be off my list.

It was a great game, and I felt like i needed to tell the Team 1410 that the 'stereotype' of TiCats fans (or many of them) did continue.

Thanks guys.

Yep its the 1 game fan or the .01% that can make your game experience miserable. Good for you Jeremy to stick it out. Too bad you couldnt use the sign. Maybe next year. BB

Still used the sign before the game during warmup (got a bunch of looks), and in the 4th.
