Official Game Day Thread - LA Galaxy at Vancouver Whitecaps

It looks like the Whitecaps were not satisfied with just one exhibition game against David Beckham and the LA Galaxy. Or perhaps they weren't satisfied with the inconclusive 0-0 draw that they have declared a round 2 rematch with them.

This time, it will be held at Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium on May 13, 2008.

I don't know what's worse. The hype around a game that may happen in EDMONTON, or the fact that people can't get enough of a guy who isn't the best soccer player of all time (he really isn't)...if he looked like a tool, you know he wouldn't be popular.

At the risk of sounding like you know who, I am kind of curious to see whether Edmonton will draw a bigger crowd than Vancouver's 48,172 for the game. We all know that Edmonton usually gets better attendance for CFL games. Let's see about soccer games involving David Beckham.
