That was Definitely one of the best games I have watched on TV this season, despite the fact that we had to put up with the CBC broadcast, the game was awesome. That last drive was an Absolute nail-bitter, after having taken 2 penalties, last chance, puts it up to geroy, I was seriously scared for a minute when Jackson let it go. The best part about it was, right as we were about to get the ball for that game-winning drive, I took a look outside my living room window, and the whole sky was a bright orange. If ever there was a sign, this was it. For some reason, it filled me with a sense of confidence for our lions, and sure enough it worked in our favor. You May have heard the saying "red sky at night, sailor's delight", well on saturday it was "orange sky at night, lions win the fight".

That's awesome. We thought the exact same thing. A few minutes left in the game we took a look outside and you're right, it was bright orange across the horizon. The saying we came up with was really simple and less poetic than yours but it worked. "Orange sky at night, Lions win the game". Straight forward and to the point. It was pretty amazing to see the sky like that though. Talk about a sign. Us lion fans think alike. Good work.

Would any of you say that this game was very similar to the one played on August 27, 2005 in which the Lions pulled out a late win in Mosaic Field 19-15? That game was telecast without any commentators, and the Roughriders led most of the game until Buck Pierce completed a long pass in the last minute, setting up an Antonio Warren touchdown run.

I remember that game, oh no wait I was getting married that day in Vegas, but it is how I remember my anniversary.
