I know you will all be busy talking about the Lions first loss tonight, but I'm sure we can spare one thread to talk about tonight's other game, an exciting 29-27 overtime win by the Alouettes over the Argos at Molson Stadium. There were some very interesting facts about the game:
* Toronto's Dominique Dorsey returned a 129-yard missed field goal for a touchdown, tying teammate Bashir Livingston's record.
* On the same play, Damon Duval, who missed the field goal, was ejected along with Argos cornerback Byron Parker after they got involved in a punch up.
* With Duval ejected, punting duties were given to backup quarterback Marcus Brady. Brady had a chance to give the Alouettes the win in regulation with a 32 yard punt attempt for a single. But the ball bounced on the goal line and was then punted back out of the end zone and out of bounds by Noel Prefontaine.
* In overtime, slotback Ben Cahoon filled in for Duval and successfully kicked a 22-yard field goal. That turned out to be the winning points when Toronto was unable to match as Prefontaine was wide on a 42-yard attempt.
* Damon Allen started the game for the Argos, but had to leave in the second quarter with a tendon injury. He completed 2 of 4 attempts for 18 yards and rushed twice for 7 yards.
