I own all of the Quarterback Club patches. There was a patch in '54, but it wasn't Woodward's department store. It was McGavin's bakery (the last, 1968, was McDonald's).

So the patch was the mountain lion logo with "McGavin's" above it, and "Quarterback Club" below it.

Turning back to the Lions decals / stickers, does anyone know whether the Lions issued a sticker with a date on it between 1978 and 1980?

I'm assuming they did as they issued a sticker with a date on it in 1977 and in 1981 as well as shown in the scans (and did before 1977 and subsequent to 1981 at least until 1984).

I'm also trying to find / purchase 1970, 1962 and 1957-1959 stickers . I have other years to trade as well.

For those folks who have a collection of the Woodward's Quarterback Club patches, how do you display them? Or not as the case may be.

I have managed to get a number of them but still short of a complete set; still need the MacDonald's one as well as the 1959 and 1960. In the meantime, I am starting to think how I can best display them but still minimize any degradation. I guess I can either keep them in a binder of some sort out of the sun.

Anyways, if someone has done up a display of their patches I would be curious to learn how you did it.

Just a friendly note to those who collect the Quarterback Club patches, there are a bunch up for auction on Ebay, including the coveted McGavin's (bakery) in the club's inaugural year. There are also the popular ones from '63 and '64 etc.
