How do you blow a Bullhorn? You see them sometimes at Lions games but more often in outdoor stadiums. Long plastic horns, usually red or blue. Hard to find, but I got one. I blow hard and it doesn't resonate. Is the trick blowing hard or closing your lips a certain way around the opening when you blow? Some people can really blow it loud.

Good call on the stadium horn purchase 120.

Getting these things to work isn't as easy as puckering up and letting loose. As any prom date will tell you these things take some practice.
In truth you don't really blow into the thing, that just passes air.
You basically have to give the horn the raspberry.
It will take some time and understanding neighbours but this practice will pay off in the end.

I got one 2 seasons ago, and it is awesome. Im not very consistent with it though, I need to warm up before I get it going really loud lol, and after like 10 or 15 min, it sounds awesome, but I cant make it work all the time. and after every game, I have a cut on my top lip, and then it turns into a scab I have for a couple days, but its worth it lol. I find some sound different then others? Mine sounds really loud, but it is a low sound. Then there are some that are really high pitched. Is there a difference? Or is it just the way you blow into it?

Go and invest in 1/2 hour of Trumpet lessons at a music store. I believe it is the same concept.

I bought one a few years ago. Tried to use it and failed miserabley. Was thoroughly embarrassed when a kid in front of me used his perfectly and I couldn't get a peep out of mine. Needless to say my fellow season ticket holders did not hold back on ribbing me. I never brought the horn again....

A couple of years later, I found a marine air horn at Canadian Tire and that makes enough noise for me.
