Is there going to be any special sailings or packages for the Western Final Game?

Why would you need one? The game is at 1:30.

Excuse me. What I meant is this. Is there any buses being put on so that we can get on at the terminal and leave our vehicle there instead of paying the extra 50 bucks to bring the car.

The car's regular fare is $35, not 50, or $70 return.. If you take 4 people in a car, that's $18 each both ways, and it will cost you $12 or so to park at a Ferry Terminal. That means it costs you an extra $14.50 each to bring your car; that's cheap.

November 18th is a Coast Saver day, that means $20 each way for your car, or $10 each for 4 people. This is not a special football sailing and is available regularly:

So 4 people, car and passenger fares return: $82, or around $20 each.

Don't forget the cost to park downtown, though - $25 beside BC Place, $15 at most other lots within easy walking distance. Some street parking is free (if you can find it), other areas will cost you up to $5/hr. with a 2hr. maximum.

So how much would Bus fare be, Soundy?

http://www.pacificcoach.com/index.cfm?m ... b2afb41f29

$37.50 each way.

So 4 people share parking at $25, and we're up to oh....$26 or $27 each as opposed to $37.50.

Keep digging, though.

I'm not trying to dismiss the idea, just saying, if people are concerned about the cost, they need to remember to factor in ALL the related costs. Parking around BC Place can be pretty expensive.

So are bus tours.

We've worked the economics on this for many seasons; buses just can't be competitive most game days.

Not if you can get a carload together to share the costs... if, for whatever reason, that's not an option for you... well, I expect that's VANRIDERFAN's issue.
