Just picked this football book up from the Card show on Commercial today. The author is LaVerne Barnes (wife of Emery Barnes) anyone else read it. Thnx BB

When I met Bobby Ackles at Sports N Stuff, he recommended it but I have not read it yet.

As I recall it was quite controversial when it came out and the author got a lot of flack for her views on sports IIRC. I can't even recall what the book was about.
