Linebacker Ray Nettles wins the Schenley Outstanding Defensive Player award, and the Lions 5-9-2 record is good enough to take third place, followed by a semi-final loss to Saskatchewan.

Most people would remember who wore #22, but few people would know that Johnny Musso also wore it. As mentioned, Ray Nettles won Most Outstanding Defensive player as the lone spot of that season. Few people would remember Karl Douglas, while slightly more people would remember Terry Bailey.
