The way I see the ratio, they simply have to start Glatt and Paris Jackson if they decide to go with two imports on the offensive line. (Johnson is a given.) Fortunately, the Lions have the Canadian receiving depth to make a move like this.

The reality, however, is that import offensive tackles aren't quite as plentiful as one might think. First you have to get them up here, then they have to be able to make a very quick adjustment to the wide field, the yard off the ball, etc. That's a tough order, and keep in mind that 32 NFL teams have already scoured the landscape pretty effectively for large men who can move their feet.

Another scenario that might fit..........

In checking the Al's roster and comparing the Lions' roster................the Al's have 6 tackles and only 2 guards, while the Lions' are reversed of that.

A logical trade would be Gourges and a 2006 draft pick to the Als for Luke Fritz.

Both players would be going home and both teams would be strengthened.

I'd like to see Dave call the plays or Steve Burratto, Calgary is going to have a scary offence this year.

Can Dave stay healthy until the GC? I'm pulling for him.

Hello Wally....................
I love the way you reason Shi ZI Mi...

I know Carl will be a stellar OG on anyone's team, but if we could snag Fritz this could turn things around for the Leos offense line in the near future.

This and some help at back side tackle position!
