I am against the steelers, but they will make mincemeat out of the hawks in one of the most boring SB's ever.

I like the fact the Seahawks can win with/without the NFL MVP!!! Seattle has strong run defence, a QB that can run. I think the teams match up well enough that it'll be an interesting game. But then again I thought both of today's games would be close TOO. I'll be happy for either Head Coach to win.

Seattle has the ability and strength to win the Super Bowl. They defeated a damn good Carolina Panthers team tonight. They did what no other defence in the league could do, SHUT DOWN STEVE SMITH!

This will be a very interesting game, despite what KnowItAll thinks.

That's all I have to say, for now.

There's a similar poll at espn.com, which has a map showing each team's support by region. The Seahawks have absolutely no respect outside of the Northwest. If I were a betting man, I'd put some money on the Seahawks, especially with a spread of 3 or 3.5 points.

This is all I'm seeing thus far at ESPN:
Skip Bayless wrote:I would rather eat fish eyes than see Seattle's Seahawks in my beloved Super Bowl. The Sea-frauds have had the luckiest road to the Super Bowl this side of a fast food contest winner. I'm convinced they're the destiny-driven product of the NFL's easiest schedule and weakest division, the NFC West.

Steelers in a close one. Rothlisberger is a MUCH better QB than Hasselbeck!

It looks like ESPN removed the poll and accompanying map from its home page. The results are posted on its Super Bowl page:

Which team will win Super Bowl XL?
Pittsburgh Steelers 64%
Seattle Seahawks 36%

Total votes: 89,148

The Steelers were the favourite in every U.S. state except Washington, Oregon, Idao, Montana and Alaska, and among voters outside the U.S.
