should be a good super bowl. Over under should be around 45 pts I would think. I think Pittsburgh are a team of destiny this year after beating the teams they had to get to the big game.

Man, by time Superbowl Sunday arrives, I will have lost interest and may even forget who is playing. Why do they have to wait 2 weeks to play the damn game?
I know they want to increase the hype etc, but I think the 2 week wait is a detriment sometimes. Typical American thinking. (Not applied to Yank in BC!)

I agree, forget the 2 week wait.
They did play the following week a few years back I think.
I'm sure the players would like to get back right away also.

Gives some recovery time for the walking injured to heal and play at their top level. Just seems to take the wind out of the sails for the fans, as it is a long time to anticipate the game. But once SB week gets really rolling, it will build up quickly.
Entertainment value = an all time low

Both Rod Woodsen and Lincoln Kennedy who played in the last non-extra week SB said on NFL Network that they wish they had the extra week. All of the extra media/travel arrangments/ticket requests etc allowed them to game plan week one and take care of that stuff, then deal with the media day etc after they got to the Host City.AC/DCrocks wrote:I agree, forget the 2 week wait.

Vote on ESPN.com.
The results favor the Steelers so far:

My money would be on the Steelers, but I'll be a Seahawks fan on Superbowl Sunday!
BTW, the "Go Hawks" header is a nice touch.

Steelers are going to take it. They match up too well against the Seahawks.

Pittsburg defense matches up against the Seattle passing game, Seattle will have to play a different game in order to beat Pittsburg through the air, or depend on the running game, which Pittsburg can focus on more since they don't have to worry about the passing game as much.
Piitsburg's O-line can bear down and wear out Seattle's quick front 7, and by the end of the game will pass with ease underneath. If Cowher is smart, they will win easily....this is the playoffs, it's 0-0, a new season, regular season means nothing.
