If the CFL were to turf Wright, you would have to wonder who would be crazy enough to accept the position?

I think it's pretty obvious that Braley and Wettenhall are just looking for a puppet replacement - who would be a comissioner in title only. Any so called power or decisions would emanate directly and solely from the BOG.

"What's wrong with asking for a clear job description?"

Exactly right, Jim.

There's nothing wrong with asking. It's a normal part of negotiating, which should be done behind closed doors, not in public where it has the effect of embarrassing the employer.

Yup, another 'ringing endorsement' lol. He'll be gone next year cause there is no way the owners want the whole negotiation headache again.

Reading Mr. Braley's comments on a TSN.ca article I wouldn't be surprised if TW leaves at the end of his contract.
''He needs more than the majority; he needs 7 of the 9 governors to be able to attain an additional mandate," Braley told MOJO. "And I would say that at the present time, that's questionable.''
It seems to me the CFL will be shooting themselves in the foot if they don't give him a three year deal.
